((Backdated to Wednesday afternoon.))
[The feed opens with Harry poking through the long grass outside of Goldenrod. The angle and movement are a bit shaky, as he apparently keeps using that hand to clear a path. When he speaks, he's being fairly quiet, trying not to scare away any wildlife.]
I've been looking for some kind of Pokemon I might be able to use to get around.
[Partially because of brewing anti-Rocket shenanigans, partially because he's starting to feel like the only trainer still restricted entirely to moving on-foot. He misses his car.]
I did a bunch of reading, and there's something that's supposed to be found around here that should be able to help. Been looking most of the day, but so far nothing. Lot of those little purple rats and Pidgey, but no-
[Of course, by the laws of narrative convention, he says this while pushing aside more of the brush and then pauses, seeing something.]
Bingo.
[The Gear's view turns, showing a small Abra sitting peacefully in the grass. There's the sound of a Pokeball releasing, and a Jumpluff drifts into view.]
Campbell. You know what to do.
Luff.
[The floating blue bit of dandelion fluff floats over to the wild Pokemon, beginning to sprinkle one of its powder attacks. The Abra, in the grand tradition of frustrating trainers all over the world, responds by teleporting. This particular Abra, however, does not teleport away. It begins popping in and out of being all around Campbell, keeping him spinning in a frantic circle trying to keep track of his opponent.]
[For an second, there's a screen full of Abra. Harry lets out a startled yell and swats at it. The Gear's feed blinks out for an instant, and returns to a blur of rushing colors. There's the sound of a heavy impact, and the Gear bounces a bit, landing to reveal Harry sprawled in the grass flat on his face after a fall.]
...Ow.
[The Abra appears on his back, looking directly into the now staticky-Pokegear for a moment before disappearing again. A confused-looking Campbell drifts over to see if Harry's all right.]
...You realize, of course, that this means war. Ow.
[Harry reaches over and shuts off the feed.]

That, or this place just has a completely different set of physics than back home, but I don't see how that could affect the Pokemon but not humans. If Stephen Hawking ever shows up, I'll be sure to ask, but until then...
