Info: Lara has been Harry's starter both times he arrived in Johto, and has much more fun with his situation than Harry does. Apparently eager to prove herself, she rushes eagerly into battle, even when obviously outmatched. She also takes great joy in making Harry's life difficult, pulling pranks and generally abusing the fact that she's small and cute enough to get away with things. Tends to ride around on Harry's head and shoulders. Named after Lara Raith, due to Smoochums' tendency to explore new things using their lips. Lara has taken it upon herself to train several of Harry's other Pokemon, in spite of their own wishes to the contrary. She seems to refuse to evolve, without Harry's knowledge.

Info: Highly inquisitive, Campbell was captured when he decided to investigate Lara while Harry wasn't watching. So far he doesn't seem to mind Lara's violent reaction to his surprising her, nor her use of a Pokeball as a foreign object in their short match. He does seem to object to any actions taken by the Smoochum that might endanger other members of the team, even if he puts up with her abuse himself.

Her Fire-type attacks can be quite powerful, but she rarely uses them without prompting of some kind. Seems to have formed a strong attachment to Bruce the Krookodile.
