Casefile 003A - Video; Sprout Tower

[The video opens on the interior of Sprout Tower. Lara the Smoochum is padding around the bare wooden floor staring up at something offscreen. After a moment, a Hoppip slowly drifts downwards into view.]

Smoo!

[Lara takes a jump and bops the underside of the Hoppip, sending it floating back off the top of the screen.]

Piiiiii~
Chum!

[This repeats a few times, Lara playing beachball with the Hoppip. The camera turns around to show Harry sitting against a wall, a grey and orange egg tucked into his black leather duster.]

I can't tell if they're both having fun, or if Campbell's just to oblivious to care.

We reached an agreement, yeah. I started actually training her, she stopped being so gung-ho.

...Except for the time she tried to bum rush an entire flock of birds, anyway. Turned into a re-enactment of Hitchcock's "The Birds".

What's that? Is it a book?

It's a famous movie where I come from. They have those in Ponyville?

Saw it once at this old drive-in theater. Couldn't look at a seagull without getting twitchy for weeks.

What's a movie?

[Sounds cow-related! What would that have to do with birds?]

A movie is a process in which people shut off higher brain functions for a couple hours and watch pretty pictures and special effects.

[At least half of his conversations with this girl are going to be explaining things, aren't they.]

...It's sort of like a play, I guess.

Oooooh. Plays are great!

[Though some of them seem like they could be kind of boring... Yeah, she's only in it for the excitement.]
